Wes Dyck

VP, Personnel at The Heritage Foundation

Wes Dyck is Vice President of Personnel at The Heritage Foundation, overseeing compensation programs, employee benefits, staff development, payroll administration, and related personnel functions for about 280 employees.

He started at Heritage as an entry-level accountant in 1992 with various budgeting and financial reporting responsibilities. He was promoted to Director of Personnel in 1995 and to Vice President of Personnel in 2014. Before coming to Heritage, Dyck managed the periodicals department of a college library.

Dyck graduated magna cum laude in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in history, and summa cum laude in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pensacola Christian College in Florida. Born in Winnipeg, Canada, he immigrated to the U.S. and later obtained U.S. citizenship in 1990. He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and three children.
