Aleisha MacLeod-Smith

Aleisha MacLeod-Smith, CPA, currently serves as the Assistant Controller at The Inland Group of Companies since January 2022, having previously held the title of Accounting Manager. Prior experience includes a managerial role at Grant Thornton LLP from January 2017 to December 2021, where Aleisha progressed from Senior Accountant to Accountant. Additional experience encompasses a student position at Environment Canada, focusing on financial duties, and a co-op role at Northern Pulp Nova Scotia Corporation, where Aleisha developed Standard Operating Procedures for the Accounting/Finance department. Earlier roles include a Sales Associate at Sears Canada and an intern at the Department of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada. Academically, Aleisha holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Saint Mary's University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Mount Allison University.
