Michael Maskin

Michael Maskin is currently a Staff Attorney in the Civil Housing Practice at The Legal Aid Society Queens Neighborhood Office, a position held since September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Legal Extern in the Housing Practice Tenant Defense at Beldock Levine & Hoffman and a Summer Intern at Mobilization for Justice, Inc. Previous roles also encompass a Student Advocate at Main Street Legal Services Inc., aiding clients with economic justice, and a Summer Legal Intern at The Legal Aid Society, focusing on emergency repairs and illegal lockout hearings. Michael Maskin has a background in community organizing with Riders Alliance and 32BJ SEIU, along with research experience as a Law and Policy Intern at the National Homelessness Law Center.
