Ria Freydberg Marcario

Ria Freydberg Marcario is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, currently serving as the Executive Director for the Mid-Atlantic Region at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society since September 2011. Previous roles include Senior Chapter Director, Senior Campaign Director, Director of Priority Campaigns, and Director of Special Events within the same organization. Prior to that, Ria held the position of Assistant General Manager and Event Director at WOW Enterprises from August 2006 to September 2011 and worked as a Restaurant and Hotel Account Manager at Southern Wine and Spirits, where responsibilities included marketing and promoting Diageo and Moet Hennessy brands to enhance market share in Northern Virginia. Ria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The George Washington University and participated in the Semester At Sea program through the Institute of Shipboard Education in 2002.
