Susan Barguss

Susan Barguss has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer - People at The Midcounties Co-operative from August 2022 to July 2024, where responsibilities include partnering with executive and senior management to develop and implement people strategies. Previously, Susan held the position of Joint Chief HR Officer - Interim, overseeing the HR function for 55 colleagues, and has also served as Head of Human Resources in Food Retail and Central Functions. Prior roles include HR Advisor positions at Whittard of Chelsea and Thames Valley Police, as well as temporary HR roles at Oxfordshire County Council and Gold Coast City Council. Susan holds a Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management from Oxford Brookes University.
