Evan Leibner currently serves as an Associate Professor and Director of Simulation at The Mount Sinai Hospital's Institute for Critical Care Medicine, while also being a Cardiac ICU Faculty member and a Co-Director for the Difficult Airway Response Committee at Mount Sinai Health System. With extensive experience in emergency medicine and critical care, Evan has held previous positions including Surgical Critical Care Fellow at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Emergency Medicine Chief Resident at Stony Brook Medicine. Early in their career, Evan worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at multiple organizations, including Bellmore Fire Department, while conducting research in both nanotechnology and biocompatibility during academic tenure at Union College and Penn State University. Academic qualifications include a Medical Doctor degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Penn State University, and a B.S. in Chemistry and Physics from Union College.
