C. Edward Allen

C. Edward (Ted) Allen is a seasoned professional in corporate finance, governance, and regulatory policy, currently serving as the Senior Director of Corporate Finance & Regulatory Policy at the National Association of Manufacturers since April 2025. Previously, Ted held the position of Vice President of Policy & Advocacy at the Society for Corporate Governance, where responsibilities included managing advocacy and regulatory comment efforts for professionals in corporate governance. Ted's extensive experience includes leadership roles at the National Investor Relations Institute, where advocacy efforts before the SEC and Congress were overseen, and teaching as an Adjunct Instructor at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies. With a strong background in legal matters and journalism, Ted's career encompasses positions at ISS, Bloomberg News, and several law firms, complemented by advanced degrees from Georgetown University Law Center, Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and Duke University.
