Amanda Thompson

Amanda Thompson is an experienced environmental education and stewardship professional, currently serving as the CCI Training & Education Coordinator at The Nature Conservancy since January 2022. Previous roles include Senior Lands Stewardship & Outreach Coordinator with the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners and Natural Resources Management Coordinator at the St. Lucie County Environmental Resources Department. Amanda has also worked as a Naturalist and Education Coordinator at Oxbow Eco-Center, a Zookeeper at Palm Beach Zoo, and a Naturalist at Oregon Ridge Nature Center. Amanda holds a Master of Science in Wildlife Conservation and Management from Unity Environmental University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Guelph.
