Dianne Scharf

Dianne Scharf is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in internal auditing, risk management, and controls. Currently serving as the Internal Auditor Director for Audit, Risk and Controls at The Ottawa Hospital since March 2020, Dianne manages the Internal Audit, Internal Controls, and Enterprise Risk programs, providing independent assurance and developing risk mitigation frameworks. Prior to this role, Dianne held the position of Internal Auditor Director at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from September 2015 to April 2020 and accumulated significant experience at LCBO in various roles including Manager Internal Audit and Audit Project Manager. Dianne also served as Senior Accountant at Larny Holdings Limited and began the career as an Accounting Student at Welch LLP. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University, and multiple certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, and CPA, CMA.
