Wylam Faught

Dr. Wylam Faught is the Interim Head of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Newborn Care at The Ottawa Hospital. Wylam has been with the hospital since July 2007, and in their current role since July 2012.

Prior to their current role, Dr. Faught was the Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa and The Ottawa Hospital from July 2007 to July 2012.

Before moving to Ottawa, Dr. Faught was the Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta and the Royal Alexandra Hospital from April 2002 to June 2007.

Wylam Faught pursued a career in negotiation, studying at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
