Jennifer Sawhney

Jennifer Sawhney is a reporter currently working at The Press Democrat since January 2023. Previously, Jennifer served as a bilingual broadcast and digital reporter for Cronkite News and Cronkite Noticias at Arizona State University from August 2022 to January 2023, where Jennifer also anchored broadcasts for the Spanish-language branch aired on Univision Arizona. Jennifer's professional experience includes freelance writing and self-publishing efforts from April 2019 to November 2022, as well as a business reporter role at Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and community reporting for La Prensa Sonoma in 2021. Jennifer contributed poetry as a resident writer for BELatina News from August 2019 to August 2021. Educational credentials include a Master of Mass Communication in Journalism from Arizona State University, a Private Pilot certificate from ADF Airways Flight Training, a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from UCLA, and an Associate of Arts in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from Santa Rosa Junior College.
