Raoul Curtis-MacHin

Raoul Curtis-Machin is a seasoned professional in horticulture and heritage management, currently serving as the Director of Horticulture and Visitor Experience at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh since May 2019, where strategic leadership is provided to one of the world's oldest botanic gardens. Raoul has a track record of driving visitor growth at Visit Inverness Loch Ness, contributing to significant profit and visitation levels at the National Trust for Scotland, and leading initiatives for the Horticultural Trades Association. Previous roles include Commissioner-General for the UK Government at the Antalya Expo 2016, and extensive experience as a freelance journalist and lecturer.
