William H. Schieffer

William H. Schieffer is the Executive Vice President at The Siegfried Group. William has over 25 years of experience in public accounting and tax.

Schieffer started their career at Deloitte, Haskins and Sells in 1985 as a Senior Tax Accountant. William worked in both the Wilmington and Philadelphia offices before moving to Wade and Santora in 1988. At Wade and Santora, Schieffer was the Tax Manager and Partner. William worked on the tax planning and compliance needs of an entrepreneurial client base, with an expertise in partnership tax principles.

In September 1991, Schieffer joined The Siegfried Group as a Senior Manager. William was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2006. In their current role, Schieffer is responsible for Siegfried’s tax consulting practice, which provides federal, state and international tax compliance and consulting services to public and private companies across a broad range of industries.

William H. Schieffer attended Salesianum High School for their high school education. William then went on to study accounting at the University of Delaware, where they earned their bachelor's degree. After working for a few years, they decided to further their education by pursuing a master's degree in taxation at Villanova University. Upon graduating, they became a certified public accountant and a certified master in taxation.

William H. Schieffer reports to Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CEO & Founder. They are on a team with Horatiu Maiorescu - VP, Regional Managing Director Northeast Region, Meghan Cartmell - VP & Chief of Staff, and William Ulrich - VP, Legal & Human Resources.
