Sushma Rana

Sushma Rana is the current Chief Human Resources Officer at The Smart Cube. Prior to this, they served as Talent Director at MSLGROUP from April 2012 to March 2017.

Rana is responsible for developing and delivering strategic, effective talent programs to attract, nurture, motivate and retain the best talent. Sushma also leads the entire gamut of HR & training functions for India offices, overseeing and leading staffing/ talent acquisition & retention, orientation & on boarding, employee relations, policies and practices, forecasting/ compensation practices, internal transfers/ relocations, employee morale and engagement programs, employee reward and recognition programs, local training, learning and people development, performance management etc. In addition, they provide senior HR counsel to the agency’s key leadership.

Under their guidance, MSLGROUP has been listed among the 'Best Companies to Work For' list as per the survey conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute (Economic times), consecutively twice for the year 2014 and 2015. Both the times, MSLGROUP was ranked #5 in the Professional Services category in India.

In addition, they were runners up at the 'Campaign South Asia Talent Person/ Team of the year - 2014'.

Sushma Rana has a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur. Sushma also has a Post Graduate in Business Administration in Human Resources Management and Services from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. Sushma has completed an MDP from the Indian School of Business. Sushma also has a certification from LinkedIn in Ram Charan on Coaching High Potentials.
