Kate Matheson is a highly experienced consultant with a focus on participatory approaches for strategy development, grantmaking, research, monitoring and evaluation, programming, and advocacy, particularly for youth-led and feminist movements. Since September 2018, Kate has been self-employed and has collaborated with various organizations, including The Torchlight Collective, where involvement in human rights-based projects drives social change. Notable projects include creating activist spaces for the Global Ministerial Conference on Violence Against Children and evaluating leadership programs for young midwives for the International Confederation of Midwives. Kate's expertise extends to conducting global landscape mapping on violence and climate justice for Ignite Philanthropy and revising adolescent sexual and reproductive health resources for Save the Children Nederland. With a Bachelor's degree in Media, Culture and Society from the University of Birmingham, Kate combines academic knowledge with practical consulting experience to address critical social issues.
