Anita Samuelson

Anita Samuelson is the Senior Director of Total Rewards at The Trade Desk. Anita has over eight years of experience in the field of compensation and benefits, and has been with The Trade Desk for just over a year. Prior to their current role, Anita served as the Acting Head of Total Rewards, responsible for global compensation, benefits, global mobility, and compliance strategy/programs and teams. Anita has also held positions as a Director of Global Compensation and a Senior Compensation Specialist.

Anita’s experience includes working with other U.S. and Global Rewards team members to ensure consistent application of compensation philosophy and programs to employees, conducting job evaluations and ensuring competitiveness of salary structures, managing annual executive compensation benchmarking, administering year-end processes such as merit review and bonus accrual modeling and calculations, overseeing compliance with FLSA regulations, providing compensation training for new HR business partners, liaising with HRIS and Finance on employee compensation issues, and managing the relationship with a vendor that administers a spot award recognition program.

In their current role as Senior Director of Total Rewards at The Trade Desk, Anita is responsible for leading the development and execution of global compensation, benefits, equity, and mobility programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees. Anita is also responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Anita Samuelson has a B.S. from Penn State University in Actuarial Science and a Minor in Mathematics. Anita is certified as a Compensation Professional and Executive Compensation Professional from WorldatWork.
