Katherine Richter Edge

Katherine Richter Edge currently serves as the Associate Director of Testing Services at The University of Alabama, overseeing testing operations for undergraduate, graduate, and online programs since November 2024. Previously, Katherine held multiple roles at The University of Alabama, including Director of the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum from May 2016 to September 2024, where responsibilities included expanding outreach and increasing the budget by 39% for fiscal year 2023. Katherine also served as the Interim Director of the Gorgas House Museum, managing daily operations and exhibition oversight. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Property Manager at Management Resources Development, Executive Director at the Tuscaloosa County Preservation Society, Membership and Outreach Development Coordinator at The Tuscaloosa Museum of Art, and Personal Assistant at RealtySouth. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from The University of Alabama, a Master's in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester, and a B.A. in Anthropology and English from The University of Alabama.
