Carlos Lizárraga-Celaya

Carlos Lizárraga-Celaya is a seasoned computational and data scientist educator at the University of Arizona, focusing on data science methods and interdisciplinary research since January 2022. With a robust background in academia, Carlos served as a professor in the Physics Department at Universidad de Sonora from August 1976 to August 2021 and contributed to water and climate science research. Previous roles include data analyst contractor at Duarte & Associates with expertise in climatology and remote sensing, and business analytics contractor at Nearsoft, Inc., where Carlos applied mathematical modeling and machine learning techniques.
