Christopher Mossey

Deputy Director, LBNF Project at The University of Chicago

Christopher Mossey is the current Deputy Director of the LBNF Project at The University of Chicago. Prior to their current position, they served as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Curtis Institute of Music from July 2019 to February 2022. In this role, they led a team of fundraising professionals to cultivate and increase support for the institute. Christopher also helped raise over $14 million in FY21 and prepared and closed an anonymous $20 million gift that will enable all Curtis students to attend without having to incur educational debt.

Mossey began their career as a research associate at the Metropolitan Opera Association from January 1999 to August 1999. Christopher then served as a senior advisor at The Greatest Works Agency before taking on their role at Curtis Institute of Music.

Christopher Mossey received their PhD in Theirtory and Theory of Music from Brandeis University. Christopher also holds a BMus in Music Theirtory and Literature from Florida State University.

Christopher Mossey works with Marc Kaducak - PIP-II Project Manager, Fermilab, Martha Michels - Acting COO, Fermilab, and Alexander Romanenko - CTO, Fermilab. Their manager is Lia Merminga, Director, Fermilab.
