Kerstin Steiger-Merx

Kerstin Steiger-Merx is an experienced marketing and public relations professional with significant expertise in higher education and technology sectors. Since February 2016, Kerstin has served as the Representative for Marketing and Public Relations at the Faculty of Engineering at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau, where responsibilities include developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance the faculty's visibility and showcase research achievements. Previously, Kerstin managed the Intercultural Mentoring Program at the Student Service Center, establishing it as a leading student mentoring resource. Kerstin's background also includes roles in marketing and public relations at microTEC Südwest e.V., Sand Technology, and Cognos, as well as experience in foreign correspondence and interpretation at BNP Paribas and Gleiss Lutz. Educational qualifications include a Diplom-Betriebswirt from Offenburg University of Applied Sciences and training as a foreign correspondent and interpreter in English and French.
