Duncan Ivison

Duncan Ivison is the President and Vice-Chancellor of The University of Manchester and a Professor of Political Philosophy. With degrees from McGill University and the London School of Economics, Duncan has over 20 years of experience at the University of Sydney and has held various academic leadership roles, including Dean and Deputy Vice Chancellor. They have also been a Visiting Professor at The Australian National University and an Academic Visitor at the University of Oxford. A distinguished political and moral philosopher, Duncan is dedicated to public engagement and fostering partnerships between universities and their communities.
