Cherrine Chan

Cherrine Chan is a skilled professional with extensive experience in enhancing student engagement and experience, currently serving in multiple roles at The University of Queensland since March 2019. As the Acting Welcome and Induction Coordinator and Student Experience Officer, Cherrine has successfully designed and executed events to foster a sense of belonging among students, managing implementations within budget and timelines. Previous roles include Acting Residential Engagement and Events Coordinator, overseeing the development of resident programs and supervising a team of assistants. Cherrine's prior experience includes coordinating group programs at UQ Sport and providing customer service at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology. Cherrine holds a Bachelor of Biotechnology and Cell Biology (Honours) from La Trobe University.
