Alessandra Sabatini

Alessandra Sabatini is currently an Industrial PhD Student at AstraZeneca, focusing on the manufacturing of next-generation mRNA therapeutics, and a Doctoral Researcher at The University of Sheffield within the BBSRC White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership. In addition, Alessandra serves as the Lead Student Representative on the DTP Management Board, coordinating an annual research symposium, and is a Thematic Champion for “Therapeutic & Diagnostics Systems and Technologies” with IEEE. Previously, Alessandra gained experience as an R&D Intern at Illumina and a Research Intern at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Manchester and ongoing PhD studies, Alessandra is also involved in student leadership roles, including President of the University of Manchester Basketball Club.
