Neil Chapman

Neil Chapman is a distinguished academic and researcher with extensive experience in medical education and molecular biology. Currently serving as an external examiner for Year 1 of the MB,BS course at Newcastle University, Neil has held the position of Senior University Teacher at the University of Sheffield since 2005, where responsibilities include leadership roles within the MBChB course. Previous roles include external examiner for BSc and MSc programs at the University of Nottingham and King’s College London, respectively. Neil's research focuses on reproductive and molecular biology, specifically the molecular mechanisms of human parturition. With prior experience as a team leader at Edale Mountain Rescue Team, Neil demonstrates strong leadership and operational skills. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) and PhD in Biochemistry and Physiology from the University of Sheffield.
