Amanda Hopwood

Amanda Hopwood is an experienced professional in employee experience and development, currently serving as the Head of Employee Experience and Development at the University of Stirling since November 2022. Previously, Amanda held positions as a Learning and Development Partner at Skills Development Scotland, where a new 'skills first' approach to career and skills development was implemented, and as an Organisational Development and Talent Consultant at Robertson Group, focusing on building organisational capabilities. At the University of Aberdeen, Amanda progressed through various roles, ultimately leading the Staff Development team and driving organisational development strategies for 3,500 employees. Amanda holds an MA (Hons) in English Literature with Language and Linguistics from the University of Aberdeen.
