Anna Nowak

Anna Nowak is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of research and medicine, currently serving as the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) at The University of Western Australia (UWA) since 2005. In previous roles, Anna acted as the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) during 2022 and contributed as Pro Vice Chancellor (Health and Medical Research) and Associate Dean (Research) within UWA's Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. A Clinical Academic Medical Oncologist, Anna has provided significant educational leadership, alongside clinical roles, and has been involved in various organizations, including serving as an Advisory Council Member for Cancer Australia and a Non-Executive Director at Trinity Residential College. Anna holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine from UWA and has enhanced leadership skills through a Master of Leadership from Deakin University and training at the University of Oxford.
