Nandini Bhattacharya is a Professor of English at Texas A&M University, where involvement began as an Associate Professor in programs such as Women's and Gender Studies, Africana Studies, Film Studies, and Race and Ethnic Studies. Nandini is dedicated to gender justice and global diversity, significantly contributing to increasing diversity and multicultural approaches within the English department and founding the South Asia Working Group. Additionally, Nandini serves as the Director of Graduate Studies in English, managing a robust graduate program while overseeing various administrative tasks. With a strong presence in scholarly publishing, Nandini functions as a manuscript and content reviewer for various journals and organizations, including the Publication of the Modern Language Association, Routledge Taylor & Francis Group, and others. Nandini holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College, alongside a PhD and MA in English Language and Literature from the University of Rochester, and a BA from Presidency College.
