Daniel Frigo

Daniel Frigo is the current Country Manager & Head of Studio Distribution for The Walt Disney Company in Italy and the Country Manager TIG (Turkey, Israel, Greece) at The Walt Disney Company. Daniel has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, with a focus on marketing and distribution.

Daniel began their career in 1987 as an International Senior Sales Executive for Warnaco. Daniel then joined The Walt Disney Studios in January 1999 as the Executive Vice President and General Manager - EMEA/UK Theatrical Marketing & Distribution. In this role, they were responsible for the marketing and distribution organizations/strategies/campaigns throughout EMEA for all Disney, Pixar, Marvel and acquired film properties. Daniel was also the Managing Director for The Walt Disney Studios UK. In 2009, they were awarded European Marketing and Distribution Leader of the Year at CineEurope.

In their current role as Country Manager & Head of Studio Distribution for The Walt Disney Company Italy, Daniel is responsible for overseeing the studio's theatrical releases in Italy, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the studio's distribution business in the country. Daniel is also responsible for managing The Walt Disney Company's theatrical releases in Turkey, Israel, and Greece as the Country Manager TIG.

Daniel Frigo has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, with a focus in management and marketing. Daniel also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in political science and Italian literature from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Daniel Frigo has a B.A. in political science from Università degli Studi di Padova in Italy. Daniel also attended Vicenza American Highschool and Liceo Classico G.D. Cassini San Remo in Italy, as well as Serra Highschool in San Mateo, California.
