John Landgraf

Chairman, FX at The Walt Disney Company

John Landgraf is the current Chairman of FX at The Walt Disney Company. John has over 15 years of experience in production and event management.

Landgraf began their career in 2002 as an assistant stage manager and talent coordinator for Mark Baker Presents. John was responsible for coordinating costumes, staff, and dressing rooms during dress rehearsal and show. John also assisted with technical installation and gave cues and direction to cast backstage. In 2005, they transitioned to One Mighty Weekend, where they held the same position for four years.

In 2010, Landgraf became the Production Assistant for One Mighty Weekend. In this role, they assisted with technical installation and strike of event elements. John also assisted the lighting designer and Event Producer with vendor set up and deliveries. In 2014, they were promoted to Chairman of FX at The Walt Disney Company.

John Landgraf has an Associate's Degree in Fashion Merchandising/Marketing from Brookdale Community College and a degree in Entertainment Design and Production with a focus on Event Production from Valencia College.

John Landgraf reports to Dana Walden, Chair, General Entertainment Content. They work with Tara Duncan - President, Freeform & Onyx Collective, Wendy McMahon - President, ABC Owned Television Stations, and Robert Murphy - VP, Administration, ABC News.
