Michelle Hegarty

Michelle Hegarty has extensive experience in import management and logistics, currently serving as Import Manager at The Works Stores Ltd since August 2007. In this role, Michelle is responsible for managing all Far East imports, negotiating competitive rates with forwarders, and ensuring compliance with HMRC audits. Michelle also collaborates closely with suppliers, oversees documentation and payments, and manages a bookings team. Previously, Michelle worked as a Merchandising Administrator at The Works Stores Ltd, facilitating supplier deliveries and addressing discrepancies. Prior to that, from January 1995 to April 2007, Michelle held the position of Collections & Processing Controller at DHL, where responsibilities included overseeing the Information Processing & Collections Department and managing customer collections.
