Heather Hughes

Heather Hughes is the Senior V.P. of Strategic Alignment. In this role, Heather serves as executor, change agent, operational leader and thought partner to the CEO’s executive team. The position is responsible for executing network-wide priorities; leading organizational change initiatives; and ensuring alignment across the network. Prior to assuming this role, Heather worked as Deputy Director of the Membership and Programs department, executing departmental priorities; leading departmental change initiatives; and leading operations of the department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Heather came to Y-USA from the Heritage YMCA in Naperville, IL, where she led the before and after programming in two school districts. In her time at Y-USA, she worked on the Training and Knowledge Management, Activate America and Health Innovation teams managing events, projects and resources throughout.
