Jennifer Hobson

Jennifer Hobson is a seasoned sport psychologist currently serving as the Women's U17s Sport Psychologist at The Football Association since November 2022. With a strong background in applied sport psychology, Jennifer has held positions such as Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University and Academy Psychologist at Stoke City Football Club, where support was provided for various player development phases. Jennifer's early career included roles as a trainee sport and exercise psychologist and athletic counselor, delivering tailored support to athletes across multiple sports. As an academic, Jennifer is pursuing a PhD in Sport Psychology at the University of Staffordshire, complemented by a Master's degree in the Psychology of Sport and Exercise from Loughborough University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Newcastle University.
