The Org Names Cirkeline Ask as its New Community Manager

The Org has hired Cirkeline Ask as its new Community Manager. She will work out of The Org’s office in Copenhagen, Denmark, and report to CTO & Co-Founder Andreas Jarbøl.

In her new role, Cirkeline will initiate and build a strong internal culture for The Org as well as represent us in the Danish tech, startup, company culture, and transparency communities. She will also help out with a lot of the practicalities of running the Copenhagen office.

When asked about what drew her to the opportunity at The Org, Cirkeline said, “First of all I’m excited because I really love what The Org stands for! I’m fully on board with the company’s strong vision to live and lead transparency and the ambition to become the world’s greatest place to work.” She went on to say, “I’m so excited to be a part of a more social culture where your colleagues become your friends and you live and breathe for the success of the company.”

Cirkeline’s journey to The Org began in 2016 when she was hired to manage the community at a co-working space of 350 tech entrepreneurs. It was at this co-working space that she first met Andreas and Alexander Juhl Bendt (who now serves as The Org’s Head of Design). Speaking about her time at the co-working space Cirkeline said, “I really hate to brag but we won a few Danish Startup Awards, one (maybe two, I don’t remember) Nordic Startup Award and one Global Startup Award, all for ‘Best Co-working Space.’”

Her time at the co-working space came to a close and she joined Grandhood, where she helped build their internal and external community, but due to COVID, her role took a turn towards content writing, customer success, and customer support. Cirkeline deeply missed engaging with real people and leaped at the chance to join Andreas at The Org to do community and culture work once again.

Outside of work, she has released a podcast about luxury items and the histories behind them. “I’ve been wanting to do a podcast for several years but it was the endless hours alone during lockdown that ignited the creative part of my brain. We just released the season finale last week and we’re pretty mind blown by the loads of positive feedback we have gotten. So now we’ll start recording for season two next week.”

Cirkeline is a native of Denmark but has lived in both London and Lugano, Switzerland. Her preferred type of holiday is either road tripping around the US or escaping to a fitness resort.
