The Content team is responsible for Insights, The Org's editorial platform. They write news articles and in-depth features on the people and teams at the world's most innovative organizations. Additionally, the Insights team helps produce other content around The Org, such as weekly newsletters, social media posts, copywriting and an upcoming podcast.
How we work
The Content team is responsible for developing, managing and growing Insights, The Org's media platform. We use reporting to write stories about innovative high growth companies, that help people at other high growth companies learn, grow and thrive. We extensively cover important executive moves in the tech industry, as well as using unique analysis to write deep dives on the most interesting people in the org chart's of top tech companies. We also write deeply reported features, profiles on interesting, successful executives, and our own version of top lists, where we highlight startups and individuals to watch.
Our team is largely made up of writers with backgrounds in journalism and research and intelligence. We are passionate about building something useful, fun and consumable, that becomes a part of people within the startup community's every day lives, and helps people within the community learn from their peers.

How we work
We are a small, close knit team, that communicates all day long. We work best when all sitting in the office together, chatting as we work, sharing ideas as they come to us, bouncing them off each other. Remote work has obviously made this tricky, but we have managed well with daily morning check ins to talk about priorities, daily afternoon newsroom stand ups to plan publishing for the morning, and weekly full team meetings and brainstorm sessions. We have ad hoc full team strategy sessions around once a month, where we plan and tackle challenges together.
