The Org Names Karan Zoria as Its Director of Business Operations, The Org

Karan Zoria is the latest addition to The Org’s growing Operations team. Joining as the Director of Business Operations, Karan will report directly to VP of Operations Lucy Hong and work from The Org’s New York office.

His mission will be to build a robust business operations function that will help the company operate more efficiently as it scales. This will involve developing cross-functional processes and ancillary tools and functions to support the growth of the business.

“I’m excited to work at the Org because of its mission-driven nature and high caliber team, Karan stated. “I believe the products we’re building are at the center of the shift towards organizational transparency and will bring an enormous amount of value to the world.”

Prior to joining The Org, he was a corporate lawyer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, a law firm based in New York City, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and advised clients in a variety of different industries including media, pharmaceuticals, and technology.

When he’s not working you can find Karan, who is originally from Queens, New York, out playing basketball, practicing martial arts, or bowling.

The Org Elevates Daniel Ollgaard to VP of Revenue

After a year of hard work, Daniel Ollgaard has been promoted to serve as The Org’s first-ever VP of Revenue. In his new role, Daniel will be responsible for exploring additional revenue-generating solutions that support The Org's mission to make organizations more transparent. he will continue to lead the Scout team to achieve their full potential. “I’m really excited to be stepping into a role which will allow myself and my team to both build out Scout and to start exploring all these other opportunities,” Daniel commented. “As the platform for the future of work, The Org has huge potential to create highly valuable commercial products across industry verticals.” Since joining the company in April 2020, Daniel has played a key role in establishing our first revenue-generating product Scout. Under Daniel’s management, the Scout team has continued to not only reach and exceed their own sales targets but also support The Org’s growth as a whole. His ability to attract, retain, and motivate great talent has and will continue to set him and the Scout team up for success when it comes to product innovation, execution, and scaling.

Yasmin Nelson Joins The Org’s Partnerships Team

Yasmin Nelson Joins The Org’s Partnerships Team

Yasmin Nelson has joined The Org as a Partnerships Manager. She is the latest addition to the fast-growing team and will report to Head of Partnerships Adam Bruskin. In her new role, Yasmin will use her background in and a passion for strategy and operations to help scale existing partnerships, educate potential partners, and relay their feedback to The Org's product team. Before joining The Org, Yasmin was a Process Improvement and Operations Associate at Placement, where she helped to streamline processes for client deliverables and co-created the company’s inaugural CSAT/NPS program. Prior to that, she was a Client Operations Associate at AngelList, where she synthesized and presented customer feedback trends to help product teams prioritize new features to delight clients. She is thrilled to join The Org and said, “I'm excited to have the opportunity to help companies build teams that they can be proud of and that reflect their values.” Yasmin is a graduate of NYU, where she earned a B.A. in Social and Cultural Analysis and an M.A. in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. Currently, she is pursuing an MBA at Quantic School of Business and Technology. Outside of work, she loves to learn and makes a point to carve out a couple of hours each week to read or take a class to upskill. In her free time, the native New Yorker can be found at a movie theater, flipping through a cookbook for a new recipe to master, or having a picnic at one of the city’s parks.
