Jane S. Howard

Jane Howard, Ph.D., is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) and a licensed psychologist. Dr. Howard received her Ph.D. in psychology from Western Michigan University. Dr. Howard is also Professor Emeritus (Psychology) at California State University, Stanislaus in Turlock, California where she taught undergraduate and graduate courses in behavior analysis and child clinical psychology.

For more than 25 years of experience developing and supervising intervention services for children, adolescents and teens. Dr. Howard is the lead author on several well regarding treatment outcome studies for autism. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as The Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, The Analysis of Verbal behavior, and Research in Developmental Disabilities. She co-authored the textbook Human Behavior: Analysis and Application with Ellen Reese. In addition, Dr. Howard has made numerous presentations at national and international conferences.

She currently serves on the Board of the Council of Autism Service Providers and was a member of the Board of Directors for the California Association for Behavior Analysis. She also is past President of the Board of Directors of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
