Saravana Shankar S has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Saravana Shankar started their career as a Graduate Trainee at HVF, Avadi in 2003. Saravana Shankar then joined Honeywell Automation India Ltd in 2005, where they worked as a Trainee Engineer, Project Engineer-DCS & Safety Systems, and eventually became a Senior Engineer-DCS & Safety Systems. In 2009, they moved to Thermax Limited, where they served in various roles, including Instrumentation-Prop&Engg-Power EPC and Engg Project Manager & Proposals, Power-EPC. Currently, Saravana holds the position of Head of Engineering, P&ES - EPC at Thermax Limited since April 2021.

Saravana Shankar S completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Instrumentation & Control from the University of Madras between 1998 and 2002. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) with a specialization in International Business from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
