Brendan McAulay has a diverse range of work experience starting from 2014. Brendan began their career as a Production Team Member at Gentex Corporation in 2014. In 2015, they worked as an Engineering Intern at IBC Coating Technologies, Inc., where they assisted in preparing engineering plans and reports and conducted physical tests. In 2016, Brendan worked as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Axiall Corporation, where they contributed to various construction and maintenance projects with a focus on designing stack vent and by-pass piping.
Following their internship experiences, Brendan interned at Universal Orlando Resort as an Engineering Intern in 2017 and later joined Walt Disney World as a Quality Engineering Intern in 2018. In 2019, Brendan joined Rockwell Automation as part of their Engineer in Training Program in Field Support and progressed to the role of Associate Engineer in Field Support in 2020. Brendan provided on-site support for motor control device start-ups, collaborated with asset management and reliability groups on projects, completed lean/six sigma training and project work, and performed troubleshooting for customers on devices such as drives, PLCs, and HMIs.
Their most recent work experience is at Thermo Systems as an Associate Project Manager, starting in 2023.
Brendan McAulay completed their education at The Ohio State University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Business. Brendan attended the university from 2013 to 2018. Prior to their university education, Brendan McAulay attended Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School from 2009 to 2013. Brendan did not obtain a degree or specialize in a particular field at this institution. In addition to their formal education, Brendan McAulay obtained several certifications, including the FE certification from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers in April 2019, the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate for Mechanical Design certification from Dassault Systemes in May 2018, and the 10-Hour Construction Safety & Health certification from OSHA in June 2017.
