Matthew Benavides, J.D., LL.M., serves as a Senior Sales Executive at Thomson Reuters, focusing on providing workflow efficiency solutions to legal professionals in Wisconsin and Illinois since April 2024. Previously, Matthew held the position of Global Head of Sales Enablement at Clarivate, leading the strategy and P&L for the Patent Research & Prosecution Support commercial team from January 2021 to March 2024. Matthew's extensive experience in the intellectual property field includes roles as Director of the Biotechnology and Commercial Patent Group at CPA Global, as well as managing positions at Patent Resources Group, Cardinal Intellectual Property, and various law firms. Matthew possesses advanced degrees in Intellectual Property Law and Business Transactions from Cooley Law School, alongside a background in biotechnology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Cellular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
