Russell Bodill

Russell Bodill has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Russell started their career at SEI as the Head of Business Development, Africa, where they focused on establishing a strong network and conducting direct sales campaigns. Russell then joined Old Mutual Investment Group as a Senior Account Executive, where they served as the Head of International Distribution and a member of the ESG Investment Committee. In this role, they were responsible for driving informed decision-making and retaining assets through the identification and management of potential threats. After that, Russell founded Investment Spectrum, where they held the position of CEO and Founder. In this role, they monitored operational activities, developed differentiated distribution strategies, and boosted productivity through recruitment and resource utilization. Currently, Russell is the Head of Business Development & Director at Thrive Capital, where they are involved in identifying new business opportunities and improving accuracy through valuable services to financial institutions. Russell has also established a unique business model for the South African market.

Russell Bodill has pursued their education at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Russell first completed their Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom), followed by a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with Honors (BCom (Hons)). The field of study for both degrees is not specified.
