Jim Overby

Jim Overby, CPA, CIA, CISA, is an experienced risk management leader currently serving as the Audit Director at Thrivent Financial, where they oversee IT audits, privacy, business continuity management, and Thrivent Trust Company. With a strong commitment to developing professional talent and building relationships with senior leaders, Jim advises on IT risks and communicates audit results to the Board of Directors' audit committee. They have previously held significant roles such as Lead Financial Analyst at Wells Fargo and Head of IT Audit Americas at ING. Jim is pursuing an MS in Software Engineering and holds a BA in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas.
