Jeannine Verdenik

Jeannine Verdenik serves as the Vice President of People and Culture at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre since November 2022, bringing extensive experience in human resources and organizational leadership. Prior to this role, Jeannine held multiple positions at Confederation College from November 2002 to November 2022, including Executive Director of Organizational Effectiveness, overseeing Human Resources, Payroll, Public Safety, and Communications. Earlier in the career, Jeannine worked at Lakehead District School Board in various human resources roles from November 1998 to November 2002 and began in human resources at Bearskin Airlines from June 1995 to November 1998. Jeannine's educational background includes a Master of Laws in Alternative Dispute Resolution from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School, a Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, and a diploma in Human Resources Management from Confederation College.
