Hironori Muraoka

Hironori Muraoka currently serves as CHRO at TIER IV since January 2025. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at Rakuten, where Muraoka held positions such as Chief People Officer for the Communication & Energy Company and General Manager of the Mobile/RTS HR department from April 2020 to December 2024, overseeing a team of approximately 75 members. In earlier roles at Rakuten, responsibilities extended to HR and quality assurance across various divisions, with leadership of HR functions for the Ad & Marketing Company and Global Ad Division. Muraoka's career began at Hitachi, progressing through several HR-focused positions, including HR Business Partner Manager roles at PwC Japan and Hitachi Vantara, as well as foundational HR experiences. Muraoka holds a degree in Literature and Geography from Kyoto University.
