Sooyoul Lee

Sooyoul Lee is an experienced Android Developer with a strong background in mobile application development. Currently serving as a Tech Lead at TikTok since August 2021, Sooyoul focuses on creator monetization and subscription features. Previous roles include Android Developer at Instagram, where employment spanned from June 2018 to August 2021, and various positions at companies such as Mellolabs, Connected Lab, CIBC, Digiflare, OnyxMotion, Avid Life Media, and Dreamingwhale. Sooyoul co-founded Mellolabs and Dreamingwhale and held leadership roles including CTO and Lead Android Developer. Sooyoul holds a Bachelor of Computer Science with a Software Engineering Option from the University of Waterloo, received in 2013.
