Eryle Bixler

Senior Technical Analyst at Timmons Group

Eryle Bixler has a diverse background in various positions related to GIS software and analysis. They started their career as a GIS Technician at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation in 2007. They then moved on to work as a GIS Specialist at the Schenectady County Department of Economic Development and Planning, where they extensively used ArcView and ArcGIS software.

In 2008, Bixler joined FOUNTAINS SPATIAL INC. as a GIS Technician before transitioning to a role as a ROW Agent at CHA Consulting in early 2013. Later that year, they began working at URMC, Utility Risk Management Corporation, as a GIS Analyst II. They were responsible for LiDAR data collection, vegetation management, and overseeing vendors for field work.

In 2014, Bixler joined McKim & Creed, Inc. as a PLS-CADD Analyst, utilizing PLS-CADD and AutoCAD software for modeling high voltage transmission lines. They also coordinated with vendors and clients for project completion.

That same year, Bixler also worked at Inntopia as a Software Support Specialist, providing customer support, conducting training, and assisting with software implementation. Their role required researching and resolving customer issues while collaborating with internal teams.

From 2014 to 2020, Bixler served as a Product Specialist at Clearion Software, where they specialized in geographic information systems, database design, system configuration, implementation, and technical analysis.

Most recently, Bixler worked at SSP Innovations, LLC as a GIS Solution Consultant from 2020 to 2023, providing expertise in GIS solutions.

In 2023, Bixler will join Timmons Group as a Senior Technical Analyst.

Eryle Bixler began their education in 2002 at SUNY Oneonta, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Geography. Eryle completed their undergraduate studies in 2006. Following this, they furthered their education at the University at Albany, SUNY from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Geography and Cartography.
