Joshua Baldwin

Geographic Information Systems Analyst at Timmons Group

Joshua Baldwin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Joshua started their career as a Floor Supervisor at Cody's Books in 2002 and worked there until 2005. From 2007 to 2008, they served as an AmeriCorps Program Coordinator at The Wellness Coalition. In 2008, they became the Operations Director at future form institute, LLC, a position they held until 2009. Joshua further pursued their education and worked as a Graduate Assistant at New Mexico State University from 2010 to 2011. Joshua then joined JACOB MORGAN CONSULTING, INC. as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst in 2012 and worked there until 2015. From 2015 to the present, they have been working at Timmons Group as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst, where they serve as the National Administrator of the U.S. Forest Service's Forest Mapping and Accomplishments Portal (ForMAP), overseeing a suite of GIS-based reporting applications. Additionally, they have also been a PhD Student at the University of Denver since 2015.

Joshua Baldwin completed their education in a chronological order. Joshua began their academic journey in 2010 at New Mexico State University, where they pursued a degree in Human-Environment Relationships and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Joshua successfully completed their Master of Applied Geography (M.A.G.) in 2014. Following this, Joshua continued their educational pursuits at the University of Denver in 2015. At the University of Denver, they focused on Geography and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in 2020.
