Tania Tavakkoli P.e., M.asce

Tania Tavakkoli, P.E., M.ASCE has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 15 years. Tania is currently a Project Manager at Timmons Group since June 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Civil Solar Engineer at Rosendin from May 2022 to May 2023. Tania also worked as a Senior Civil Engineer at AZTEC Engineering Group, Inc. from March 2021 to April 2022, where they managed and acted as the Civil Engineer of Record for solar photovoltaic power plant projects in New York. Before that, they were a Civil Engineering Professional at Black & Veatch from March 2020 to August 2020.

Tania has experience in project management as they worked as a Project Manager at M&T Engineering and Construction from August 2019 to February 2020. Tania also has a strong background in civil engineering, having worked as a Civil Engineer at Stantec from February 2017 to August 2019 and at Landplan Engineering, PA from August 2016 to December 2016. Tania specialized in water resources engineering as a Design Engineer at Anderson Engineering, Inc. from July 2014 to June 2016, and as a Research Assistant at Universiti Putra Malaysia from January 2011 to December 2012 during their PhD studies. Tania also obtained a Master's degree in Water Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia from December 2008 to December 2010. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at MSSU from July 2014 to June 2016. Tania's extensive work experience reflects their expertise in project management, civil engineering, and water resources engineering.

Tania Tavakkoli, P.E., M.ASCE, holds a Master's degree in Water Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Water Engineering (Irrigation and Drainage) at Shiraz University from 2001 to 2006. Tania has also obtained various certifications, including the Engineer Intern certification from the State of Missouri and the Professional Engineer (PE) certifications from the State of Kansas and The State of New York. Additionally, they have completed numerous online courses and trainings in areas such as project management, AutoCAD Civil 3D, InfraWorks, and LEED certification. Tania's education and certifications reflect their expertise in water engineering and their commitment to professional development in the field.
