Erik Hoedemaekers

Erik Hoedemaekers is a scientist integrator at TNO since May 2014, focusing on the development and validation of online battery pack model identification methodologies from the perspective of battery management systems (BMS). Research emphasizes online model parameter estimation and active profile induction, supported by laboratory tests. Previous roles include R&D Graduate roles at TNO Automotive and H&F Electronics, where Erik contributed to battery model identification methodologies and innovative electronic design solutions, respectively. Practical experience spans sales, service, and repair at Rienties Tuinmachines, and earlier R&D positions in various companies, starting from an electrician role at Nedri Spanstaal to a trainee position at Emotron BV. Erik holds a Master of Science in Automotive Technology from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Fontys Venlo University.
