Kujtim Haxhiaj

Kujtim Haxhiaj is an experienced electrical engineer with a career spanning over three decades, currently serving as a Technical Specialist in Airfield Electrical Maintenance at Greater Toronto Airports Authority since November 2006. Prior roles at the same organization included Senior Electrical Engineer and Supervisor, with responsibilities in maintaining and repairing electrical systems for Airline Support Systems. Kujtim's earlier experience includes positions as an Electrical Technician at Canada Bread Company, Limited, and Electrical Technologist at Atlantic International, where Kujtim developed electrical diagrams and selected equipment for Air Make-up systems. Additionally, Kujtim held key roles at Burrel Ferrochrome Plant, including Chief of Electrical/Mechanical Department, where economic feasibility studies of distribution systems were conducted. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Universiteti Politeknik i Tiranës and a certification as a PLC Technician from George Brown College.
