Stuart Green is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media relations and issues management. As a Senior Communications Specialist at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) since August 2016, Stuart is responsible for media relations and serves as the chief media spokesperson. Previously, from October 2012 to August 2016, Stuart managed media relations at Ontario Centres of Excellence, leading communication strategies and acting as the corporate spokesperson. Prior positions include Manager of Communications for the Corporation of the Town of Ajax, where strategic political advice was provided, and Director of Communications for Mayor David Miller’s office in Toronto, overseeing press and media communications. Additionally, as a freelance music writer for MEAT Magazine and Exclaim! Magazine from 1990 to 2007, Stuart crafted features and reviews, while earlier experience at Metroland involved reporting on Toronto City Hall. Stuart holds an education from Centennial College, completed in 1988.
